If you have a massive DVD collection, you are likely going to want to make sure that they are as safe as possible. The only way to do this is by getting a case. Not only are they are going to keep your collection safe, but they are going to effectively keep your collection as organized as possible. This is going to help you be able to see exactly what is where and whether or not you ever have something missing. By keeping all of your DVDs organized, you will be able to effectively manage your collection much more efficiently and easier overall. In this article, we will be going over some of the different types of DVD storage, cases, and holders that are available out there.
Different Kinds Of DVD Holders:
1. DVD Binder.
This is an option for those that want to keep their collection somewhat portable. By placing all of your DVDs into a binder, you are going to be able to effectively move it from one place to another very easily. This is a good option for anyone that plans on moving their collection a lot and/or for people that love to travel with their entire DVD collection. After all, a binder is going to allow you to move it from one place to another much easier than other methods. A binder also happens to be one of the least expensive methods out there because you are not going to have to purchase an expensive one.
2. DVD Tower.
A DVD tower is for someone that wants an organization tool and a product to display their collection in their home. This is typically going to be placed right next to the DVD player or whatever you use to play your DVDs in your media center. This is a good option if you do not need your entire collection to be portable. You are not going to be able to or want to carry your tower from place to place. Therefore, this is only an option for someone that really doesn’t want portability at all. A tower is also a great option for those that want their DVDs to be displayed and very easy to find and play. A tower is going to make it extremely easy to see what you have when you want it and to be able to take it and use it when you need it.
3. Mini Binder.
There is also an option on the market for a DVD mini binder. This is the binder that you would want to purchase if you have a small collection of DVDs that you enjoy to travel with. These binders typically hold less than 30 DVDs. Therefore, if you are not trying to travel with your entire collection, you are likely going to be able to successfully use one of these mini binders for your needs. A mini binder is a great way to keep a small DVD collection with yourself at all times. You never know when you are going to want to pop in a DVD and watch it. This is great for those that are traveling on vacation and do not want to have a huge DVD binder taking up their entire suitcase.
As you can see, there are plenty of different storage options for those that want storage for their DVDs. Some of them are going to be more expensive than others and some of them are going to be more portable than others. You are going to want to choose whichever storage option really works best for yourself and your current situation. If you want the most possible protection, you might decide to get a steel binder. If you want to have easy access and you do not care at all about portability, you might decide that a DVD tower is right for you. If you need maximum portability, you are likely going to want to go with a mini binder which is a little bit bigger than an actual DVD in terms of width. Choose whichever option works best for you and you should be happy with your purchase and DVD organization.
