Top Hot Gadgets From CES 2014

CES, also known as the Consumer Electronics Show, is the worlds largest consumer electronics show. Over 3,000 of the worlds top manufacturers, technology brands, and minds participate in this event. Thousands of products were announced and there is tons of buzz going around in the industry as to which brand and/or product stole the show. Below we will discuss some of the biggest gadget announcements from CES 2014.

Smartphones:

Sony Xperia Z1 Compact.

Sony has been coming up with some incredible innovations. Last year, they introduced the world’s first high end waterproof phone. Now they took it a step further and gave the consumers what they have been asking for. A compact version of their already flagship Xperia Z1. The Z1 was already one of the highest rated smartphones in the categories history. With Sony’s latest offering, bringing their waterproof technology to a smaller form factor, they will be sure to steal some market share from the likes of Samsung in the near future.

Pebble Steel

Wearable technology was bound to be one of the biggest talking points of this years CES show. However, no one expected to see what Pebble came out with. Pebble took the wearable technology and silenced the critics that claimed “wearable’s” were a fad and that they would never be sustainable technology. The fact is Pebble merged future technology with timeless and classic looks by creating a smart watch made of steel. It is compatible with both; Android and iPhone devices.

Lenovo introduced a ton of exciting new products. However, none more exciting than their new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon. What was already one of Lenovo’s top laptops, they made it even better with their latest offering. They slimmed down the original and made it the lightest laptop on the market today. The laptop also incorporates some stellar specifications that will be sure to deliver incredible value to the user. It also offers nine hours of battery life that can also be recharged up to 80 percent within 50 minutes of being plugged in.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro

Samsung has been dominating the tablet market since they came out with their Galaxy series. This year, they announced four different tablet devices that will be launching this year. The 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro, as well as three different sizes of the Galaxy tab pro. This gives users a chance to choose their favorite size and run with it.

As you can see, CES 2014 did not disappoint. There were some surprising announcements and some stellar products being displayed. The fact is, there has never been a better time to be a technology fan. Consumer’s definitely have a ton of products to look forward to within the next year. Now that we have discussed which products won this years show. It will be more interesting to see which products win on the market.
